Arabiatta Bruschetta with Basil & Olive Oil ♡

It’s the middle of Ramadaan and eventually you do get tired of eating a fried savouries day after day.

So I decided to go the Italian way and spice it up by creating a healthy and fresh starter suitable for any meal as well as a finger food if you’re hosting a party or small get together.

RECIPE::

Ingredients:

1 long roll of bruschetta bread that is sliced into 2cm thick diagonal slices.
2 cups of a mixture of Gouda and Mozzarella cheese
2 cups of sliced mini plump baby tomatoes
Hand full of finely chopped basil
Olive oil to drizzle ontop
A few garlic cloves (depending on the amount you making)
Red chilli Garlic pesto
Salt and pepper to taste.

Method:

Take the cut bruschetta and line it up in a tray. Drizzle olive oil on it and place it in an oven for about 8 to 10 minutes on 180°

Once you take it out of the oven, rub garlic cloves on each slice of bruschetta and then dress with tomatoes, cheese, basil, red chilli pesto and sprinkle salt and pepper ontop to suit your seasoning.

Finally drizzle some olive oil ontop at the ending.
It is optional to bake again for 5 minutes to have the cheese melted and served hot OR it could be served as a cold dish.
